This product is a rarely used traditional Chinese medicine, colorless and transparent needle-like or prismatic crystals, or white crystalline powder. The length of the crystals varies, about 3cm long, about 0.3cm thick, and the hand twist is fragile. It has a minty aroma and is cool after being hot at first. It is better to be colorless and transparent, and the smell is strong. Menthol is extracted from the leaves and stems of peppermint, white crystals, C10H20O molecular formula, colorless transparent needle-like or hexagonal crystals. It has a special cool mint aroma and fragrance, which is cool, ether and spicy. It has sublimation and mint aroma, cool after burning at the beginning of the taste, easy to volatile, and the ethanol solution is neutral. It is highly soluble in ethanol, chloroform, ether, liquid paraffin or volatile oil, and very slightly soluble in water.
It is used to make cool oil, painkillers, toothpaste, tooth powder, candy, beverages, spices and other uses.
