Acrylic resin (Methyl Methacrylate Resin), commonly known as plexiglass, is a high-molecular compound polymerized from methyl methacrylate. The common synthetic methods include four polymerization methods: anionic polymerization, solution polymerization, bulk polymerization, and suspension polymerization. In addition, this resin has excellent properties such as easy coloring, light weight, non-fragility, and good processing performance. Therefore, it is often used as a substitute for glass, optical lenses, lenses, etc. In addition, with the development of acrylic resin and its modified polymers, acrylic resin also has a wide range of applications in the fields of pharmaceutical preparations and coatings.
