Decyl glucoside is a new type of nonionic surfactant alkyl glycoside (APG). Starch-based surfactants have become one of the major research topics of domestic and foreign scholars since the 1980s, and alkyl glycosides are the most active research field and development focus.
Application:
1. Industrial cleaning agents. It can be used in fields such as metal cleaning, industrial bottle washing, and transportation vehicle cleaning.
2. Food additives. In food manufacturing, It can disperse the combination of oil and water, and has foaming, anti sugar, and fatty acid polymerization effects. It also has the function of mixing food components evenly and improving food taste.
3. Piperonyl butoxide. APG has the characteristics of easy degradation, non polluting crops and land, good moisture absorption, and is suitable as a pesticide emulsifier. It can regulate soil temperature and has a significant synergistic effect on herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides.
4. APG is also widely used in industries such as industrial cleaning, pharmaceuticals, textiles, printing and dyeing, coatings, oilfield development, and firefighting chemicals.
