1,2-Benzisothiazolinone-3-one (BIT for short) is a major industrial sterilization, antiseptic, and anti-enzyme agent. It has outstanding biological activity in inhibiting mold (fungus, mildew), algae and other biological activities in organic media. The breeding effect of microorganisms solves a series of problems such as mold, fermentation, deterioration, demulsification, and odor of organic products caused by microbial growth. BIT is stable and effective in acidic to alkaline systems. The active ingredients can withstand high temperatures of 300°C without decomposing. It is suitable for both anionic and cationic systems. It is a widely used industrial high-efficiency bactericidal and antifungal agent.

BIT (1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one) is a bactericidal, antiseptic and anti-enzyme agent widely used in industry. Its main uses include:
1.Latex products: BIT can effectively prevent the growth of microorganisms in latex products and extend the service life of the product.
2.Water-soluble resins: BIT helps prevent microbial contamination of water-soluble resins during production and storage.
Paint (latex paint): Adding BIT can prevent the growth of microorganisms such as mold and bacteria in the paint and increase the shelf life of the paint.
3.Acrylic: BIT can be used in acrylic resin products to prevent microbial erosion and product deterioration.
