Carbohydrazide is a derivative of hydrazine with strong reducing properties, which can be used as an intermediate in the manufacture of energetic materials, as well as directly as a component in rocket explosives and propellants. As a deoxidizer for boiler water, it is the most advanced material used for deoxygenation of boiler water in the world today.
