Applications
Disinfection and Sterilization Field: It is a broad - spectrum bactericide that can effectively inhibit and kill various microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, and algae. It is often used for disinfection and cleaning in hospitals, schools, public places, etc. It is also used for bactericidal and algaecidal treatment in swimming pool water, industrial circulating cooling water, sewage treatment systems, etc., to prevent the growth of microorganisms and the formation of biofilms. It can also be used as a wood preservative to prevent wood from being eroded and decayed by microorganisms.
Personal Care Products: Used as an antistatic agent, when added to hair care products, it can reduce hair static electricity, making the hair smoother and easier to comb. Meanwhile, it has surface - active properties and can play a cleaning role, helping to remove dirt and grease from the skin and hair. Its antibacterial properties are also utilized to prevent the growth of microorganisms in products and extend the product shelf - life. It is used in creams, lotions, cosmetics, etc.
Textile Industry: As an antistatic agent, it can reduce the electrostatic interaction between fibers and reduce electrostatic phenomena during fabric production, such as fiber entanglement and dust adsorption. It can also be used as a fiber softener and wool - combing aid to improve the hand - feel of fiber products, making the fabric softer and more comfortable. Industrial Field: In the mineral flotation process, it acts as a flotation agent.
