1.Structural features: The crystal structure of BETA molecular sieve is composed of silicon-oxygen tetrahedron and aluminum-oxygen tetrahedron, forming a staggered network structure of large pores and small pores. Its pore size is approximately 0.6-0.7 nanometers, which is larger than other common zeolite molecular sieves (such as ZSM-5).
2.High thermal stability: BETA molecular sieve has high thermal stability and can maintain its crystal structure and catalytic performance under high temperature conditions.
3.Catalyst application: Due to its unique structure and pore characteristics, BETA molecular sieve is widely used in various catalytic reactions. For example, it can be used as an oil hydrotreating catalyst to convert heavy oil or coal chemical products into high-quality fuel. In addition, BETA molecular sieves can also be used as cracking catalysts, alkane isomerization and olefin skeleton rearrangement reactions.
4.Adsorption applications: BETA molecular sieve has high adsorption capacity and selectivity and can be used in applications such as gas separation and liquid adsorption. For example, it can be used in processes such as ethanol dehydration, styrene purification and air separation.
5.Molecular sieve packing: BETA molecular sieve can also be used as packing in devices such as molecular sieve columns and separation columns to separate and purify molecules in mixtures.
